Hey everyone. Is there a way to program a new driver door module for the 07 Trailblazer without going to a dealership? Is there a way to order one pre-programmed from anywhere except for a junkyard? I am looking to replace mine at my expense but after too many bad experiences with many of the local dealerships (and thousands of dollars over the past several years my family has wasted across multiple vehicles) I will under no circumstances go back to a dealership. I called another dealer farther away that I have not been to to find out about the part and they are telling me that it must be programmed at a dealership and they would need the car to do it.

I asked them if they can get me a programmed module and they said no. Any suggestions? I gave up on dealers completely earlier this year and I cannot do this unless it is without going to one. Got the DDM programmed this morning. The woman at checkin said, 'you know it's going to be $111.' I said, 'The woman on the phone told me $55+tax.'

She then said, 'yeah, she no longer works here.' I paid $54+tax. Seems like the wandering mirrors are also fixed. I will test over the next week. As a side note: once I installed the new DDM this morning before I went to the dealership, the interior lights were on.

2004 Silverado - Can't lock/unlock driver door from remote or switch in either door. Window switches don't work in driver door. Interior light stays on. 2007 Silverado LTZ 4 door, Drivers side windows don't work but passenger side windows work fine from the master switch even after replacement. Odd that I have 4.5 volts at the plug to the window motor when the switch is activated even with the new switch and 12 volts to the switch and the window lock-out does not stop.

They would not go off, until I got it programmed. The DDM affects all kinds of things. Firmware Bb Storm 9520 John on this page. That's my technical breadth and insight of the DDM.

Fuck that^^^^, how about LOOKING before spending money. First pull your panel and see if the 'grey latch' is fastened to the door on the harness.

Dude trust me, dont go spending money until you check this. I have an '03 tahoe and the same happened to me, my dvd player wouldnt turn off after opening the door, foot pedal adjust buttons, or my mirror turn signal.

If the harness (the larger of the four harnesses if you have heated seats, three if not I think) is even slightly loose, you will lose shit. Its odd but you can tell which switches are wired to which side of the harness, because the loose side has the contacts not touching. Pull your panel look at the largest harness that is plugged in under the window switches and locks you will see this harness has a grey 'lever' on it that locks it into place check to see if it was fastened Worked for me, check before you blow your wad.
