However, to get the rest of the software to work the program requires that the 'original' CDs be used for confirmation of ownership, etc. Since buying this unit I lost all docs during several moves and relocations. The scanner worked well on my prior computer with Win 8.

The problem is that now that I upgraded to a new HP computer with Win 10 I was unable to transfer HP ScanJet G4010 program from the old computer.
